Looking back to a Legendary Decade

As KMC celebrates 10 legendary years in the Philippine real estate scene, trace the milestones that made the company what it is today.

Fast forward to 2019, KMC is now one of the country’s fastest-growing corporate real estate and property consultancy firms building up their capabilities not only to keep pace with the industry’s growth but also to stay ahead in this highly competitive environment.

KMC has come a long way since its starting point in 2009. KMC was founded by three proptech entrepreneurs, Gregory Kittelson, Michael McCullough, and Amanda Rufino Carpo.

Despite being the new kid on the block, KMC was named the Best Real Estate Agency in the Philippines by the International Property Awards in 2013. Covering various regions, this accolade is given to the world’s finest property companies after a rigorous and highly competitive screening process. This is a well-known standard of excellence in the local and international real estate settings.

With only four years of being in the playing field, the company has already gained accolades and recognition. The following year, both the company and its leaders are gaining recognition for the expertise they contribute to the field. KMC was awarded as the Best Property Consultancy Website Philippines while its managing director, Michael McCullough was named as SPi Global’s Top Young Leader at Asia CEO Awards

This recognition pays tribute to young managers for their achievements in excellent business leadership in their respective industries in the Philippines.

As it continues its operational expansion in the country, the International Property Awards named KMC as the “Best Property Consultancy Philippines” firm of 2014 - 2015. The company also marked a bigger milestone as it recorded a doubled revenue growth in the same year.

The following year, KMC establishes its Landlord Representation Team, representing one of the most premium developments in the metro such as ArthaLand Century Pacific Tower and the newly-renovated Insular Life Makati Building.

Executive Director for Tenant Representation Services Cha Carbonell was hailed CoreNet Global’s Gordon Wyllie’s  Young Leader in 2017. This award recognizes young individuals’ great contribution to their organization and the corporate real estate industry.

The company also becomes a trailblazer in the real estate industry after it has successfully fully leased Insular Life Makati through the country’s first co-landlord representation project on September 4, 2018. This was a joint initiative with real estate firm, Colliers Philippines.

With an impressive track record, it is no wonder that KMC kicks off its celebration of a legendary decade with another win as the World HRD Congress Philippines awards the company as the Best Employer in Career Development Innovation.

Time and again, KMC has proven that it is a firm that puts a premium on honing its people’s potential and is consistently focused on providing exceptional results which reflect its clients’ vision. Now with over 200 employees, the company established itself as the preferred provider of real estate services in the Philippines, operating with the needs of both foreign and local clients.
